Venom: Random sketches and the like..

Hi, I'm venom, this is my sketchbook, i've only joined this site today, so sorry for screwing anything up. Comments/crits appreciated.

Als, osorry for the completely hopeless scanner, and yes i know it looks like ive tried to edit it :/.
I know that most of my work is anime style, i'm trying to work on my realism with some help from a few friends.
First few, crappy quality as stated, there you go.

Look at photo reference, and things from life. Most if not all anime is grounded in good understanding of life drawing (so is most art but still)

    hey
thanks for the comment... but I'm still not sure of my style of drawing hair.
I don't know if it works with every hairstructure and color... curly.. brown.. blond... I still have to try out all combinations :p.
Ah.. and as the others said: Don't focus on anime etc. ... try out lifedrawings.. studies.. anatomy.. and all the shit ;D.
    You'll make it! Good luck!

    Thanks for the Comment. ^_^

Funny but true, in here you'll probably get a lot of people saying to not draw anime. The more you draw from life the better you anime drawings will look as said before by Smokey186.

    KEep it up.

i'm working on the realism, and might have some new bits and bobs up for you as soon as my bloody scanner decides to co-operate.

All I can suggest is that when you master drawing from life, and traditional anatomy etc, then your anime style (if you want to keep going that way) will look that much more convincing. And also means you wont be stuck doing the real cliche way of doing eyes/faces etc. You can experiment. Just push past the fundamentals so you can have some fun doing what you want to. Draw draw draw!

    'Nother update then.
nothing all that brilliant, some ideas i ad that failed miserably, and some practises of stuff.. take a look, and see whatchu thiink.
I've been trying to stay away from the anime, but when you've got 5 minutes in form time theres nothing you can really do but go back to what you can do quickly..
Also apologies for them being on their side, i han't worked out how to spin them yet, cause my scanner and general computer is an arse. -.-
And yeah, it cuts off in random places. >.<
    best i can do, sorryy

aso, yeah, those last two are from like, aaages ago. LOL just thought i'd scan them in for the hel of it.

    go on, lay into me.
