    Beginnings

    I'm 17 and have started this in an attempt to improve my skills. I've always been drawing on and off and I'd like to be able to do something decent with this imagination of mine. I'm really interested in character art and I'd love to be able to get my stuff to a level thats moderately realistic.
    Anyway, heres some scans.

    Also, any advice for anyone starting anatomy? I have 6 Loomis books and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions.

    Thanks for looking!

    Your 3/4 view of that girls face is good, You seem to do a some stuff from your imagination which is good, Get into some anatomy studies it'll give everything more realistic proportions.

    Thats the site, it's handy since there are models and people who arent models on there.
    Now, more sketches; these are done from the tutorials section of characterdesign.com;

    And some random sketches,

    As much as I love using it I think I'm going to have to go back to normal pencil instead of this blue pencil as I can't seem to make heavy lines with it.
