its missing something......you ever think about making decorative brushes?
like lace or ornamental ones that can add to the beauty if your work?

check out marta dahlig's stuff, and youll see what i mean.

Beautiful vibrant colors. I think something that might be missing is maybe some textures, so yes, you should definitely make some decorative brushes.

very beautiful work and a kick ass first post.
    great work!

I do think however that in the 2nd pic, where she is petting the dragon, her arms look a little too stiff. perhaps bending them just a tad would give it more flow. just a suggestion

keep it up and post more!

i like the poses and the overall composition, with the exception of the 3rd picture. the empty space between the girl and the building..... is that supposed to smoke? And why not their legs?

I think they're technically well done, but it's too much of the same. Arms straight out in all of them. It seems you have some anatomy problems regarding the arms in the 1st and 4th. Their faces, all indifferent. They're all floating in the air, except maybe for the 3rd? And the poses in picture 1 and 4 is just too similar. At least for posting them both at once. Makes me wonder just how many poses like that you do. You also need some textures in there, I think.

It's pretty good stuff, but I can't really agree with the "a kick ass first post" statement, especially when compared to some of the other first posts we've had here. Keep it up, keep exploring, keep improving.

My favorite is definitely the last one. You've got some beautiful ethereal textures and the content is very interesting. But the face just looks a little bored and blandly pretty.

I think perhaps some of these just have too much going on...too many different colors and saturations, and in some of them the compositions look like they weren't well thought-out. And expression is really important...these characters look a bit like they're on Paxil.

i love your concepts and experimentalness in angles! I quite agree with everyone (too much of the same, blandly pretty, etc) but I can see that you put a lot of effort into them and it shows! You quite have a knack for textures and little details, and some of them are more apparent than others(second and bottom one especially). The bottom one is my favourite because it's made in such an odd angle. did you paint it straight on and later rotate it or paint it like that?

    nice work ...
my only crit would be that the shadows on the second and the last pic are somewhat too bright... and are really not helping that much in establishing the light direction..
    Nice work keep
    cheers
