another page of the SB. 2 items i found in china town i drew and random cooler.
very well study of nudes i love to see more
I like the inked stuff on that last page. I think you should maybe try rendering things more in a permanent medium (like ink) as an effort to see things more before drawing them. It might build your confidence up further, and help you describe more with less. Or just draw more in pen. Use your line to describe form more, rather than just straight up and down strokes.
Keep crankin out more of that.
One note to you is work on your 3d space.
Remember, there is no such thing as line,
Nice live drawings. The master study stuff is hi def. Eyes are the weakest rendering in the drawing form life. Maybe, check a few loomis head proportions or eye studies.
If you have done so already, then forget that shi-
Just do more life drawings.

Must draw more from nature.
Hi kaff, the progress from the first post to the last is impressive. As everyone said you made studies in the places you wanted to improve and you improved , so i only have to say to keep up studying anatomy first and trying to understand each body part so that you can play easier with it.
Thanks for stopping by my sketchbook
gardenrusalka: Thanks! Yeah i might push that a bit further.
kingkostas: Thanks! Yeah I need to get on to doing more anatomy studies.
Needed to make more fairy sketches better geared toward my 4 year old god daughter

Hey, thanks for the advice. You're right, I don't look at the source material more than my drawing and it shows. Well, I'll be changing that now.
If you want to best "generic" looking fairy of the bunch, I'd say bottom left has that nailed. Big eyes, dainty body, playful posture and expression.
I really enjoyed the little shaman guy in post #180, he looks like he would be pretty mysterious . . .
Aww, I love faeries (I think that is obvious. I want them to feel lighter somehow. Also for your next area of study I would look at feet, they are feeling a bit socklike right now.
The last is very cute, next time I would plan ahead for the silhoette as parts of her get lost against the wings. You want to try to make sure what you draw is clear even if you only drew the outside shape of it. ^^
Good work (you are better at updating than I am, alas).
