    pain in the drawing arm

my elbow is sore as hell all day long, when i go to bed and when i wake up. im wondering if this is from drawing all the time, or from when i broke my arm two years ago, or both. has anyone else had a similar pain?

Drawing shouldn't be causing you pain, but funky drawing habits could be the cause. Try drawing less, and from different positions, or with a lighter touch; or spend a week drawing with your other hand. If that doesn't help, talk to your doctor.

I hope you feel better soon.
I think you are awesome, and I wish you the best in your endeavors, but I am tired of repeating myself, I am very busy with my new baby, and I am no longer a regular participant here, so please do not contact me to ask for advice on your career or education. All of the advice that I have to offer can already be found in the following links. Thank you.

Tendonitis? Try icing it a lot. Also see a doctor, if it's tendonitis there are some medications/slings to use that helped me a lot (though my pain was in the forearm and caused by working out, but it's the same basic condition)

I usually get pains in my elbow too, but that's due to the fact my bone pops out of the joint when I sleep (I have very weak muscles). If I don't pop it back in when I get up in the morning, it will cause my entire arm, from the shoulder to my wrist, to flare and be weak all day long.

Since you said you broke your arm, there's a chance that might have something to do with it. Or it could be your resting your elbow on something that's pinching a nerve or perhaps you bruised something. But I'm no doctor, so I suggest you do as Seedling said, try and give your arm a rest for a week and if there isn't a change, go to a doctor.
