Yeah this shows petential. Only thing I would suggest is making the shoulders broader.

    Keep at it

I looove this character, the elongated neck is just perfect.
I wouldn't make the shoulders too broad though i like them just the way they are now! I'll be watching this one i realy like it

    3 more hours of work....

3 more hours of work. Sorry for the bad photos (my wife took the good one).

At this stage I am really just playing around with the overall style. Still not totally nailed down. I am also laying in more muscle structure which will not be as pronounced in the end. I mostly worked on one side of the body.

    Any crits are welcomed!!!

Personally, I liked the first stage better, with less pronounced pecs and belly. He looked more elegant, but maybe that's not the look you're going for.

    EDITED.

    updates Sept 23

    Hi everyone,

here is the latest. 3 more hours. I worked on the unfinished leg and back, cleaned up the head and neck, gave him a hand on his right arm and worked on his left arm a bit.

He is still more defined than he will be in the final piece. I think I am getting closer with the style (though not totally everywhere). Not totally happy with his right hand. I feel it is too big for him.

    Crits and comments are welcome,

    Uno

I very much like the wide lower arms, they mirror the head and neck a bit and give him balance. I would be cautious though, if you add much more bulk to the torso and arms, his lower legs and feet will probably end up looking too small.

Wow great job. It looks much better when you don't blow it out with lighting!
