    Color Critique Please!

Hey all. I just finished doing a collaboration with a friend. She did the artwork, and I did the coloring.

I would like some color critique on this. I did everything except the drawings of the two characters. Everything else was by hand in Photoshop. (trees, dock etc)

So yeah, please critique the coloring, not the characters! =D And thanks again for any help!

    Overall, this looks really nice.

    As for crits...
    1. Everything is still a little fuzzy, mainly the fur of the two characters and the wooden dock. You could get darker and lighter around the edges to help this, depending on your sorce of light.

    2. Your dock has a nice strong shadow, but the shadows of your characters seem to be lacking somehow.

    3. Try adding reflections on the water of the charaters aswell.

    Great work!

    1. Yeah I know what you mean about the characters. I think the fuzziness on them at least is from using the smudge tool in an attempt to make a fur texture on the edges. Didn't show up as well as I wanted though.

    2. Agreed.

    3. Oops! Darn, I missed that. o_O Ah well. Thanks for pointing that out! I agree with that.

    And thanks.
