John, I've combined these into one thread so people can see them all together. I really like them, especially the second one.

I am making with curves using the illustrator, I find until faster making in vector why I have more dynamism, it only needs much patience. Soon I will make more drawings of this style (they will not be more skulls) I am Brazilian and I am trying to divulge me therefore does not have place here to study this area and it did not wait as many come compliments of so qualified professionals. Soon tutorial!

Yea, the gold skull totally reminds of new school meets traditional tattoo flash.

second skull is great. Just needs highlights in the screw heads so they don't just look like a red "x"s

Pain is just weakness leaving the body

These are cool. This style of line shading always reminds me of comic books. And the one on the bottom is definitely my favorite. What Version of Illustrator are you using?

My biggest complaint is the lack of common lightsources that play over the surface of the complete skull. I think that the repeated lines used to render the various pieces is a really sleek-looking way of showing dimension. Each individual metal plate looks fabulous on its own, but some of them seem to have been rendered separately from the whole with different respective lightsources. When they are placed all together they begin to compete with each other, and it confuses the overall geometry. I think the golden skull on the bottom shows less of this problem than the first two

But regardless these look really cool and it's plain too see alot of work was put into these. Keep up the good work!

"Today, a young man on acid, realised that all matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration. That we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively, there is no such thing as death, life is only a dream, and we are the imagination of ourselves... here's Tom with the weather." - Bill Hicks
