Hej, svaka cast na postignutim rezultatima Majo!
Posledjne dve godine si extra napredovala, prosto da covek ne poveruje, i to izgleda dosta zahvaljujuci "character of the week" natjecanjima. Stvarno nemam reci.
Praticu tvoj rad nadalje.

Just thought I'd post the finished picture and some sketches, I'm doing the full figure from now on, feet and everything. Also, the last one (my Vampire Dark Ages character, Gangrel) was supposed to look like she was punched and flying backwards but now I see I should've positioned the legs a bit differently. Ah well...
Also, I draw feet too tiny. Gotta watch out for that.

Nice tattoo designs on the girl. Smart choice stating to draw the full figures too. One must know how to draw everything.

LtPlissken - hey, thanks for the good intentions but I messed it up and didn't get to finish. I'll try and finish it on my own after the weekend though
Joe777k7 - thanks!
m.j. - thank you! I hope I do finish it...
Pixie Trick - thanks! I've been trying to get better at that and change my poses a bit, we'll see how it goes
Meanwhile, here's a speedie, it's Deborah Reed as Creedence from Troll 2: The Goblins. Although, if I'd known she was gonna see it, I wouldn't have left it as messy as I did...

That is exactly what bothers me by doing the character of the week concept, the fear that I will not finish it on time. Well then, I will vote for you in the next turn.
I like the Troll 2 chainsaw morbid painting, even if it is not too refined, it looks great.

Vratio sam se da pogledam ona dva portreta... Odlično si to odradila. Meni uvijek ispadnu nekako između,nedorečeni. Niti strip crtež a ni pravi realističan portret. To me ubija!

Great work Majo, and fantastic improvement over the year!
Keep up the good work.

LtPlissken - yeah, finishing on time can be hard, but it's a challenge, I like to prove to myself I can beat. I haven't taken part in a while, but as soon as I catch some time I'll be sure to

mehran - thank you
Sycra and Tizzy - thanks
m.j. - hvala portrete nekako najvise volim crtat, ne znam ni sama zasto, i inace mi se desi da kad napravim lice dobro, zeznem sve ostalo jer mi se ne da vise... Moram poradit malo na tome.
Ivan Turcin - Thanks!
I haven't been updating because life is pretty much a bitch that has me working 12 hours a day but hopefully it'll go easier on me soon. Here are the two measly sketches I've done in the meantime, a pencil sketch and a color practice (True Blood's Franklin Mott who is an awesome character)
Gunslinger still not finished.
now off to returning the favors to you lovely people xD

awesome studies man, the improvement in only 7 pages is HUGE! Great work. Your linework in particular has changed so much, it looks like a different person is drawing your later studies. Keep up the hard work.

I think your figures have acquired a lot of solidity and your colours work pretty well too!
I really like that True Blood's Franklin Mott portrait.
keep up the good work!

You have pretty good skills, but maybe try to add color variations to people, with overlay layer for example, and when you go lighter, where the light is falling, go towards yellow instead of white. I think your shadows on people could be more intense in color also.
Otherwise it's all awesome, especially pencil works, keep it up.

Niceeee sketchbook!Nice lines and rendering!Try to saturate ur last portrait a little bit more(more orange color)Keep practicing ur progress is nice!

Hey Whistler! Your work is really coming along in here. That Franklin Mott portrait looks great - I love the detail in the features and the variety of colors in the skin tone. The Gangrel image looks like it's going to be an interesting one, and the female character reminds me a lot of your self-portraits! That pencil sketch in post #202 looks awesome (especially the feet and the hands, but all it looks really good), and I really like your queen of music in post #183. I think her skin could be a tad rosier, but that could be a matter of taste. Right now the roses stand out a bit more because her skin is quite desaturated, but then if you did have some areas that were a bit warmed, they would relate to the roses very well. I dunno, maybe that's just me In any case, great work girl! Keep posting! ^^

Wheee! Comments during those 150 years in which I haven't posted
Anyways, hey people, haven't been here in a while, my life suddenly got really busy. HOWEVER, here now, and hopefully I'm staying for a while longer
heix33 - thanks for the advice! I try not to use too much white, but it somehow always ends up that way, guess I'll have to try harder
Cameli - thanks! I'll try
dierat - you're back! Awesome! Thanks for the comments, yeah, the gangrel looks a bit like me... Dammit. As for the tattooed lady, I should've done the skin a bit more saturated. That's the part I always mess up... But there's always the next picture
Now for the two sketches... DnD character, and Aladdin for this week's CHOW.
