Akuman(ivading)- concept for a Video game cinematic.

    Hi !!!
    Happy too see u again,
This is a concept desing for a Video Game Cinematic, the game will be out soon in Iran.
This is Akuman the King of Deevs (some creatures bitween men and beast . So powerful and also have some ability to use magics & ...), they are invading the great city of men in this shot. I finnished it for about 4 hours and the most of my time has spent on his arm, but it doesn't look good at last , i think,It shouldn't be bent this much!
I'll be happy to know your ideas, thanx!
    Danesh.

    Great work!
I love the sketch as well as the finished piece!
About the arm I think your instincts are right, I think the highlight on bulge of the bicep in the painting tends to push the upper arm awkwardly out from the lower structure of the forearm.
    Anyways awesome work. Jake

I was just about to point the lighting issue out ^^
    very well done Mr. Stahlberg

a solid and good artwork soheil
but just as the paintover points out you got to have more midtones in skinareas to prevent it from looking like metal because of the extensive highlights

dude thats fring hot! other then wats mentioned in the paintover u got a really nice piece there.

only thing im concerned about is the big empty blob of nothing,( the sky) I think u should ad some detail to the sky or just crop the image, right now, composition wise its not such a good idea too keep such big part of the image "empty"

or maby thats just me xD dunno, anyhow, love the bull-demon-thingy

Great character, mood and colors, I agree with Lotet maybe the composition needs a little bit more balance.

    Anyway, great pic!

Interesting to watch those "simple" changes improve the piece that much.

some hints of texture would make it super sweet.

This is a very good pic. I really like it. I see a vast improvement in the second post. The figure looks bulkier, more menacing. I like the detail in the first post but knocking down the brightness on the right arm and cape sure helped create the dark mood I think you’re for. Cropping helped too. Anyway, great job! I’d like to see another post if you do any more to it.

I don't agree with cropping the image, I should have put some details in the sky, maybe some birds or...
