    Horned demon sculpture

Here are a few pics of my new project. Photos show the sculpture and then the first blank pull from the molds. The last photo is of the silicone molds for some of the horns that will be cast in acrylic. I'll start painting in a couple of days.

Wow, looks really good. Is it sculpted over a life cast?

Also what method are you going to use to paint the silicon? It's something I'm planning on doing for a puppet quite soon so I'd be interested how you go about it.

That is very nice! I like the distortion of the features. Is that WED clay? They only think I think could use improving is the teeth. I think they are too uniform and common. Keep up the great work. Will he be painted? Or perhaps be made into a mask?

Thanks. Yes he was sculpted over a Monster Makers armature. The mask itself is made of latex and I will use FW Inks to paint it. The silicone molds are of the horns that I will cast in acrylic.

Thanks. Yes if I can get it to fit over my big head, I'll wear it for Halloween. I'm also selling these too to anyone interested. Painted and unpainted versions.
