Uh. It's been 3 months since it's release if you're talking about this Sunshine. So why this sudden surprise?

Anyway, I'm anxiously awaiting the DVD release. Although the guys I went to the cinema with didn't like it and the last third was kinda weird, the movie rocked my eyes and the acting was waaaay above standard. Danny Boyle =

jabo - it only opened here a few weeks ago.

i liked it, although i'm not sure my nerves could take a second viewing. i think it needed a bit more breathing room between terrifying suspense scenes, but the visual style is dead on and the movie delves very deep into its themes of hot/cold and light/dark.

notspecialist: Oh, ok, sorry. Didn't know that. As for the pace of the film, yes it's pretty intense, especially the slasher-part. But the visual style itself is a blast. And I liked what they made out of the psychological aspects of longtime space-travel and the thought of saving the whole world.

DanielC: I lov the trailer music too (Lux Aeterna from Clint Mansell).

I agree very good sci-fi film. All the actors were great, and the story was very cool.

i agree, what an awesome film, UK cinema coming out again with danny boyle (amazing guy best uk director in years). I liked the international cast, made it seem alot more real, a global effort to save the world. Cillian Murphy was great as usual.
