Ashley Wood's Pipebot New Photos 2-6-8

We showed the three Bertie Prototypes at San Diego Comic Con. Two were unpainted (just primer) and the third was hand painted by Senor Wood himself. He is 14 inches tall, and weighs a ton (solid resin). Luckily the production version will be vinyl and abs, and be fully poseable.

A new paint sample has come from the factory. This is the "Dirty Deeds" version.

I had the pleasure to talk to Ashley Wood during the convention, but unfortunatly, I missed the prototype of this cool toy ! So, thank you for posting these pictures. I remember your SB being badass, so I guess it's not a surprise if you are one of the guys working behind that cool robot !
    Bravo, Wetterschneider !

    Thanks Julien, thanks Brandon.

Brandon, did you get a chance to see that thing in person? I know it was a madhouse and you were terribly busy.

I laughed a lot at how fast those fresh photos got spread around the net. I just shot them in the little studio setup here, did the Photoshop polish thing, and uploaded them to Flickr. By that evening they were everywhere!

We don't have photos of the engineering models, but new images of the final vinyl figures are coming from the factory.

Is that the Howard Stern fist logo at the bottom, or just a coincidence?

David - thanks, I like that catlike alien fellow that you recently did. Have you thought about printing it?

Brandon - thanks so much, the work that you and your brother do has always impressed the hell out of me.
