Just a little sketch I did. Maybe I should take the time to work out the perspective properly next time...Oh and btw, it was inspired by this huge lawn mower I saw on television the other day.

I tried the new Colors! app on Facebook. It had some playback issues, but it was okay to paint with it.

PieMonster: Hres bra ut, kan si det samme om deg.

I found some videos of Scott Roberson where he basically explaines everything that's on his DVDs and more:http://www.youtube.com/user/scottrobertsondesign/videos

...So I tried to do a form rendering myself... (semi-glossy surface).

nice ID stuff man. the linework reminds me of moebius. my only crit is that the batmobile redesign doesn't look "batty" enough. not enough design motifs and elements to integrate it into that universe. my two cents. anyway, keep up the good work! thanks for the links to the scott rob stuff.

Very nice art, zelda geek! I liked the moebius vibe in your sketches, and how you use colors. Loved Batmobile!

Alexandre Belmonte: Thanks, Moebius has some really cool stuff!
dlincoln83: Thanks a lot man! I don't really think much about the colors as the values. If you get the value somewhat correct, the chances are the colors will look somewhat correct.

These were painted with Colors! 3D. It a really fun, simple painting application for the 3DS and I recommend it to every artist who owns a 3DS. You can find the 3D images and playback videos in my gallery.

You did those on the 3DS ? They are quite awesome, I epsecially like the river/forest environment and the colors in that one.

SmileWithStyle: Yes, you can download the software in the e-shop.
It's great to have your own little digital sketchbook to take with you everywhere
you go Of course, it can't replace Photoshop, but it's great for plein air
    sketching etc.

I wanted to see how it was like to draw freehand perspective on the 3DS.
As always you can see the process here

Didn't know the 3DS have an illustration app! And by the look of your paintings, it is a very good one. The size of the screen isn't a nuisance?

    Thanks for the painting process!

Jamie Romoser: Nice to see that you're posting again.
Alexandre Belmonte: Of course the screen is a bit small, but it's not that big of a deal.

Trying to understand materials and specular reflections better.
I painted the matte surface and glossy surface on two different and then
lowered the opacity of the glossy surface to create the semi-glossy surface.

    Obstfelder: Nei, jeg studerer.

A new, very vertical painting. It's for this week's IDW: Alien Lava Vehicle. I will flesh out the design of the vehicle in two perspective lines drawings later. I played around with the "Fade" under Opacity settings in Photoshop. It really made me think before I put down the brush strokes and I think it's has a nice, more traditional look.

hey man! according to the timestamps i haven't posted here in a year. Good to see lots of ID stuff! it's definitely something I'm trying to do more as well. The reflective/matte surface studies are really nice. I'm gonna be honest the first time i watched those videos when he first posted them up confused the hell out of me haha.

Awesome stuff you got here dude! You're one of the few Norwegian people I know of that are really good. Love the way you handle colors, and your traditional sketches, they're pretty sweet

    keep it up man

skMOP: Yeah, the reflective surface rendering can get quite confusing on complex forms. ID teach a lot of important fundamentals, so it's good to practice that stuff..

    telohs: Hah! You're too nice.

Here's some stuff I found on my hard drive which I forgot to post...aand some sketches!
