@linebo: Thanks, studies are important indeed, gotta do more of those

Here's just some half-finished character painting. I really feel bad about not rendering that hand at all, just had so much trouble with the other one that I didn't bother :/ Anyway, I'm not really satisfied by the design either...maybe I should look up some more references before I start.

Gather references, important step but I'm sure you'll already know this. (Oh man, I will be happy when I finally have build op a rich visual library in my head :p)
Think about function, how is it put together,...
    Draw from life!

@Lyno: Hey, thanks for your comment. The tips are really helpful, even though I've heard them before. Good luck to you too.

Here's a quick one I did last night... yeah, his left arm and head is awful (he doesn't have a neck ) But I enjoyed drawing this, and a great way to test how bad your anatomy "skills" are.

You've definitely improved since I last saw your art (some time in the latter half of last year).
Awesome environments. I need to practice those more.

I think your environments are really well developed. More so than your figures which still suffer some anatomy issues, however the progress made from the first pics to the last are really promising, and it's good to see that you do regular construction studies (something i don't do nearly enough.) and your sense of lighting I find really keen, and is currently i believe one of the strongest points of your work. Your most recent figure sketches are looking great, and are very expressive, and that last painting Guardian Ironclaw is downright rad. Keep up the good work and enjoy the fruits of your labor. You're only going to get better and starting at your age you've got the jump on alot of others in the field. Good Luck!
"Today, a young man on acid, realised that all matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration. That we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively, there is no such thing as death, life is only a dream, and we are the imagination of ourselves... here's Tom with the weather." - Bill Hicks
