    invasions and disasters

    your having a nice sunday, sitting around the pool maby. Getting ready for a cup of tea and a movie, things are winding down after a nice old weekend.

    Then your planet is destroyed just after 6 pm because some godlike being in orbit lost a bet with itself.

    I really like the lens flares.

    If you title this piece, maybe it can be called Twilight Raid or something. A good font to use is Comic Sans. It comes with most computers.

    But seriously, you really need to put more work into this, cleaning up line work and edges and solidifying forms, making straight line actually straight, checking perspective. You are fudging too much on this.

    Make the main machine much more finished. Pull back on the lens flare special effects.

    Damn that's harsh. I don't think it's the lensflare 'effect' in PS, but I agree the pints of light are distracting.

    The big thing is what confuses me. I don't know if it's aligned somehow with the beams of light, what it is, the other big 'thing' it looks like it's shooting at...

    i would imagine that if it was a grid of distruction.....wouldnt it shoot two at once....maximize the destructing while optimizing the time it would take.
    plus it just seems weighted wrong
    i dont get the light .....
    the random strokes have no meaning, therefore are distracting
    the city in particular...ive seen strokes count for something, shapes representing buildings, and such
    you need to plan this out more i think, tighten up your work
    and if there is going to be highlighted strokes, like on the ship, make sure they follow the form so they make sense, and not distract the viewer.

    but hey i swear its not filter lenz flare, colour dodge on orange using a big loose air brush on a flat layer, i promise.
