    5 Picks from Ipod

I love music threads and I'm fucking always trying to find new shit. I have a few that are always in my ipod(Atmosphere, Alexisonfire and Aesop Rock... all As, weird) but go through your ipod and write 5 of the groups/bands/singers/etc, just for fun. Even if it's emo

    Here's mine...

    1. English Beat
    2. Skyzoo
    3. Belleruche
    4. 69 Eyes
    5. Tiger Army

I have no iPod (being entrenched firmly in prehistory, with portable CD-player in hand) but the basic principle still stands, no?

ive never been a big music guy. most people find it odd, but for the most part im really listening to music. anyways i have a few i havent seen listed so check them out. oh yea.. for those who dont know, check out pandora.com . its a free streaming music site that makes "stations" based on bands you imput. like if you put in coldplay, coldplay will come up and also bands that are similar. a fun way to find new music.

    1. Coconut Records (its actually Jason Schwartzmen, the actor from Rushmoore and slackers. awesome music. only record ive found of his is Nighttiming. indie music BTW.

    2. Fauxliage (this is actually a collab of the guys who are Delirium and a country singer named Leigh Nash. Beautiful music.

    3. Delerium. as mentioned above, beautiful music.

    4. Nujabes for those who find themselves liking the beats and rhythm of hip hop but not the lyrics check this group out. most songs are just beats and such, but even the lyrics are awesome, and a nice break from the typical partying, drugs, and girl oriented lyrics known to be in hip hop.

5 Teagan and Sara. randomly stumbled upon these two girls on myspace. very fresh and unique sounding (to me at least, remember im not a big music guy) check em out if your more partial to indie music
