witcrack Thanks dude But the composition is pretty easy, all you need to do is keep track of where the other stuff on the page is, and sort of keep that in mind as you draw new things

Kult bilde! Muligens litt korte bein.

    Very solid stuff!
Something I would suggest is to check on construction once in a while when rendering, forms can get lost sometimes.
    Love the pencils.

    Keep it up man!

Your arm studies on the last pencils are very good, some of your characters have good personality though there are still some proportion issues.
Concerning the deal with hard/ soft edges here's a usefull link, maybe you already know about it :
    http://stapletonkearns.blogspot.com/...out-edges.html
Concerning anatomy , here's some usefull stuff, on algenpfleger deviant page you can get almost all of his anatomy studies, it's quite interesting to see how he constructed his characters a few years ago, the studies he made... here's the link to the stuff:
    http://algenpfleger.deviantart.com/gallery/27635231
(just download the file unzip then comes the tremendous amount of training)
    cheers
(I'll give some comment on your rendered sci fi soldier later no time today, like the original design)

Hey, I made some overpaint to your space piece to show what i wanted to mean:
first the composition was good but it's balance was a bit off, your character needed to be recenterd imo
as the chara is a focal point it needs focus hehe, saturation can help, hard edges too, contrast with the background too, the red/orange VS dark blue/grey is a good match, but your orange /brown felt a bit too dark to me and the focal point became the building in the background. I assumed your focal point was the chara and direct forground as you used some precise texture on the branches on the foreground.
So... well here comes the crappy overpaint (i'm terrible at speedpainting), sorry if i destroyed the essence of your painting

Feil Magnus I usualy find that my pictures get a bit boring if I place the caracter in the midle of the canvas, I know some people can pull it of but I'm not that good yet The way I was thinking it the spaceman is second and the building is first focus point. I might change that by blurring the building later. not shure yet. It dos look good with the bighter orange, but I think the on the underside of the arms is a bit of. atleast if the color is comming from the sky. ether way I'm trying to be real subtile with the light sources. Got a crit some time back about my light beeing to flat, so thats what my goal is to fix Bet this is way to long for anyone to actualy read it anyways

Now finaly!! after days and days of constipation (anticipation for those of you with a normal humor) here is my long awaited WIP with JoseVega from , Just some minor color changes and a few little mods, But there well thought trough
