    joaKimArt: thanks! I sure will

Last night i had a couple beers and all of a sudden i was listening to nirvana records and my hand couldn't stop moving, fast sketches of rockstars, from memory, is what is left. really addicting to sketch fast with a fineliner..

Cool is that portman on the right? beautiful...pastel and pen or something? I like that your using oils as frequent as you are along with your penciling. You've got a variety of in depth topics going so keep plugging away...maybe hit on some landscapes or architecture if you feel like a change of pace?

Thanks for dropping by my thread.. the sketches and studies on this page alone are fab! I have a real soft spot for the anial studies in oil, as I used to do big cats in oil a lot when I was younger, I really love the life you seem to capture in those studies. And the natalie portman image is just gorgeous, though the left eye as we see it looks close to the nose compared to the other, but that could well be the way her features sit. My favourite has to the be the study of the naked woman asleep on the cushions though, there's something really lovely about the feel of her skin.
