    study's and doodles // 03-09-08

    Hi you all!
I've been a long time lurker here too, and i thought it was about time to do myself a favour en get to drawing as many as i can. I hope that this sketchbook can help me to do more! i'm a lazy bum and it's holding me back
But hey, i'll give this a try! I work with photoshop, little in painter and traditional. I'm not that good in the human body, so there is going to be a lot of anatomy and a lot of studies.

here are some (older) works and i will keep um coming:

Welcome! CA.org will light a fire under your ass for sure. I like the celebrity portraits/caricatures. The likenesses are great. And the nude right above Bobby DeNiro is beautiful. My only critique would be on your pieces that look like they aren't from reference, particularly the monster holding the head. It looks very flat. I'd recommend some study on values and form -- maybe drawing from simple geometric objects to study how the light and shadows work.

    Keep drawing!
    ketchook!

Love the painterly clouds and the apple.
Your line work is expressive as well.
Agree with funfetus, do more value studies.

Cool stuff. Keep drawing. Some of the faces seem a bit slanted to one side.
