very very nice video.. I love watching others' techniques.. I think you overdid the textural shaprness on the foreground but I love the general mood of the picture, very well done!

Great image. Can't load that vid.

nice work and thanks a mil for the tutorial, really learned some stuff from that...
I only have one crit though.. the big mountains in the foregrounds differ a lot in tonal variation and the over all color pallet than the rest of the piece

ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS! I have a lot of respect for artists that can create such wonderful environments. I've only just started rendering them myself as it was always an area I never really explored. I still have much to learn, having only done three so far myself! It's great to be able to come on here and see stuff like this to help inspire me, great work...thanks!

The picture looks more detailed after watching the video. Thanks so much. I like the way you created the look of specular reflections off the water. I'm not nearly so adept with Photoshop (yet).

i think you overdid the textures a bit.. (especially on the foreground)
maybe its just me.. something more simplyfied would have made a stronger impact on the design.
but watching the video was fun!
thx for taking the time doing it.

Great watching that video and then seeing the results. My favorite part about that was observing how you formed the ship, and earlier on, the clouds.
