    Mystique - pinup

I managed to find some time for a new painting. I've never done a pin up style, so iI decided to give it a shot. For most of my paintings I like to keep very rugged pencils lines, thos time around i'd like to try something different.

    Anyways,

Here's my base, I did a rough vector trace of the original pencils, but i'm going to loose those along the way.

As to what it's supposed to be, it's going to be Mystique from the X-men series. Still haven't decided on the warderober and accessories, but I'm more concerned with the figure at this point.
Any suggestions/ crtis before I move forward would be greatly appreciated.

Her torso is messed up looking, it is way too thick and it seems that the side facing away from us is wider than the near side. Also the hands seem to be on a different plane than the legs. The neck seems awkwarsly positioned or short as well. Those are the big ones that jump out at me, hope that helped in some manner

    Thanks Truepinkas,
I made some adjustments and added the hair base. I adjusted the ribcage and bust; though I don't see the problem with the plane, the hands seem to be on the same level to me.

I'm goign to post this in sequence, so here is the update version (bare with me, I don't seem to have any time to work on personal projects... so this might take a while).

Cleaned up the lines and shifted the skin hue to a blue. Next up, i'm going to start defining the shapes, some smoothing and maybe i'll put some clothes on her.

I'm debating wether to do the comic book look, or the movie .... any ideas?
