This isnt really a book, but it does have sketches.

Heres some stuff I've been working on.....I realize much of this needs work, but if you would be willing to critique me, I would appreciate it.

Was only allowed to use black, white, and two colors.

And thats all I got for now.
Most of my sketches are gonna be done in the sketcher program, especially till I fix my scanner. On sketcher I go by Merp.

    Hi there! Nice start!
I like the last plane-space craft thingy.
Watch out for proportions which are kinda odd on that female drawing and perspective on the car (but cars have really tricky perspective)

Anyways Im not of a critic so just keep updating!

Got myself a hold of the Atlas of Human anatomy for artists.
I can notice the improvements already.

Nice start! Some of your line work is fairly confident,
    like on the wings.

Then there are the pieces like the purple guy
that aren't anywhere close to that level.
Ask yourself how you approached the more successful
    ones and strive to repeat.

I did not attend an art college either, so had to
supplement my education with the library.
You're lucky, you have CA here to learn from.

Keep cranking out the line drawings, save color until
you can routinely deliver a solid drawing.

Illustration practice for a class. Never used illustrator before.

I probably could have done these faster and better in photoshop, but at least this kinda forced me to do something different. And I feel with more colors, I could make some interesting pieces, especially since I created all of these within one day.

Had to choose four colors based on the words, then make a picture using the colors.

So my favourites are the angel and the "destroyer of the world" sketch. Not sure where you are going with the color version.. Just as it is now, I prefer the traditional one.

What could the colored version use?

Been working with the program Alchemy. If you haven't tried it yet, you should sign up for the alpha testing.

Decided to do some poses off of posemaniacs.com

I'll admit I was little scared to try these, but I quickly fell into it
I also really enjoy the 30 sec drawing tool they have.

    First pic: 60sec poses
    Second pic: 5min
    Third: Untimed
    Fourth: Untimed

.....not perfect, but i tried to fully rough them out.
