Ah, I dig that! I especially like the color temp changes, man. Really swell job. For building facades, do you paint stuff on a new layer and then transform to fit, or what?

staticpen- hey again yep, I have a line brush that literally is used to put down a bunch of lines and I transform it and skew it to fit the perspective and then erase the parts i don't want then for added details I select the newly angled lines and scribble in details and textures. quite the useful technique
    Verehin- haha thanks!
hp- well thank you Yea i'm really glad I added in the birds cause it was missing something.

so heres what i'm submitting for this weeks eow, hope you like it

    I'm offended.

    Insulted even.

    I cannot believe this...

How could I go so long without ever looking through here?!?!?

Your environments are fantastic. Truly impressed with your work and a little intrigued... Something happened to you, between page 7 and page 8. Something happened and you got exponentially better immediately.

    Any idea what it was?

Beautiful work. Please continue to share with us.

I've subscribed and starred you up deservingly.

Haha! thanks IanE, page 7-8 aye, i'll have to take a look though i'm pretty sure thats around when i decided to stop screwing around and focus, also Jon Schindehette Senior Art Director Wizards of the Coast told me to choose a direction and go for it so thats what i'm currently doing with environments. Once i get them to an acceptable level I'll probably get back into character work cause I really love doing both but in terms of getting a job I need to be an expert at at least one of them. anyway here is something a little different, I just finished an art test, and they wanted me to be a little bit more playful with my style so here is a mockup of a TD game

Beautiful new posts! This dude here at the bottom is looking swell. I like the color schemes of 2 and 4, personally.
That TD shot actually reminds me of a sort of parody of Resident Evil 2! Fun stuff, man.
As far as perfecting enviros or characters, I think you have really solid skills in both of them. Haha. You should do fine whichever direction you choose, if you're always working hard.
