Nice work Justin. It is good to see the new stuff. I am particularly fond of these:

The compositional structure supporting the subject on the last one is handled in stellar fashion.

I check your site ( Justin sweet ) pretty much everyday, this update was... uhm, I don't have a word that define how good it is, but certainly something more then just a simple "awesome". Thanks so much for sharing your great ( again, "great" doesn't define your art at all. Its so much better then great )
art. I just don't know whatever to draw or cry when i see it :/

    Super-awesome

The national geography one is awesome !!
also remember seeing a cover of dragon
or a magic card magazine with a zoom in of
one of your pieces, i saw it and it was amazing
i came in close and saw all those cool brushstrokes
it was so cool, now after your update i had the
chance to see the whole thing zoomed out, is like
two stories out of same illustration.

also i think you revisited the medusa head illo you
had before this update and it looks amazing !!!

i love the flow on all your work, we are all excited
    to see an update.

on a side note tell Vance we want an update from him too

your artwork is up there , really high, one of the best
looking forward to a printed publication of it.

Holy shit! Great update to the site, need to search through it some more!

edit - What are the black and white illustrations for? Anything specific? They are fucking incredible, floored me and the paintings are wonderful aswell.

    Cheers

Sweet indeed. Your use of color is great. Definite influence from Bisley and Frazetta I see there. Nice to see your concepts of Narnia. I wonder how many concept artists did work for that film.
Shop around for a publisher for your work. I'd buy a copy.

Hey bro, current Fullerton College student! I absolutely adore your work, and when I took a class with Marshall and found out you were a student, I almost crapped my pants. I'll be at Comic Con, so we definitely need to meet up! What day will you be there?

I remember you showing all the work you did for The Chronicles of Narnia a few years back at MICA and I've been waiting since then for you to update your site. I must say you've probably inspired me more than any other illustrator I've seen, I can't even begin to tell you how great your work is.

Is there any chance you may release a compilation of your work in the future?

Ben, I'm going to sell the book for $20.00 . Its a small book, full color 7x7 32 pages. I'm making 1000 copies. perfect bound 4 color.
Its really just my watercolors and sketches, some of my kids, life drawings, etc.
The paintings (might) will be anywhere from $1000.00 to $12,000.00. we'll see.

TaekwondoNJ, I remember MICA well. thanks for your nice words. That was a great trip. After my wife and I left the school we trekked up to the Brandywine River Museum and hung out there for a few days admiring all those wonderful Wyeths. As far a s a comipilation of all my other stuff, not sure when.

    BEst,
    Justin

I have never really thought of prices when it comes to paintings... But I think, that if anyone would say that they sold a painting for $12k , I would thought they had pretty big ego...

But with you, dude, if i had $12k , I'd be happy to buy a painting by you, damn, I wouldn't even think about it, just paid right away, not really caring about which one i would get ! You are a great inspiration, and all your stuff kick so much ass ! Hope to see more stuff soon !
