Some cool chillout music for when you're working...

Hey guys, I just came across this DJ and he has some awesome soothing remixes that go for over an hour, and for free download - the orange room is damn cool.

Pretty cool for when you're working and need some background noise =)

Anyone else got any good music recommendations for work, I get tired listening to the same old on itunes?

medeaval baebes might be girly, but it gives me a healthy dose of vitamin chill.

Thanks for posting this man, I usually just put my iPod on shuffle when I draw, but for some cool chill out music. Coldplay and Sia are also very nice, can't forget Brian Eno, Frou Frou.

    Cool stuff!

Some of my chilled out, down-tempo music:

Nautilis - "Sketches" and "Are you an Axoltol" CD's. Amazing.

Tycho - "Past is Prologue" CD http://www.myspace.com/tycho really chill stuff! "The disconnect" is a great song. He's an awesome graphic designer as well.

IJO - "the Driw Play EP" Free download here: (http://www.sutemos.net/en/player;page,2) go there and click on "IJO- the driw play EP" on the left side of screen to find the link to download. A whole lot more free music is there to d/l as well. Mostly idm type stuff.

THank you Magic, I will be checking it out! I am in the market for major chill-out music.

Props to Chaotic for Chrono Cross There is a remix by Scott Peeples called "Another Inspiration" which is a very chill remix of the title theme. And as for Donkey Kong Country, also check out the remixed album on ocremix.org - some of it is less chill than the original but it's more than worth a listen.

I also want to toss in The Album Leaf - my newest obsession. I 've had them on my playlist for ages but have only just started really getting into them. Can't listen to 8-bit music all the time I suppose

Anything from Cirque Du Solei, but primarily the Dralion and Varekai series... oh god I love Varekai.

    other artists and specific songs
    Sigur Ros: "Glosoli"
    Feist: "Honey Honey"
    Sufjan Stevens:" Chicago Acoustic version"
    Bjork:"Anchor Song"
Sting:" Message in a bottle (acoustic) "+ " King of pain"(acoustic)
Old school genesis(before it sucked): "Entangled"

Also anything that resembles the Ashes and Snow soundtrack , like old folklore songs and lullabies from China, Japan and India.(Like Sheila Chandra:"Bhajan"!)
Wow, that's pretty much my whole current playlist. :p
