Its' free and it takes less than 10 seconds!
I couldn't sleep last night, so I decided to do a little late night doodle...Hope you all like it...C & C are, as always, welcome!! :-)

I doodled last night and came up with a face that looked like it had hit every branch of the ugly tree on the way down.
This is a great piece of work. The layout's great, the expression is vivid and the movements pretty much spot on. For a doodle it's way cool.
He calls it a doodle! Jeeeze ...
Very cool man. Reminds me of Geoff Darrow's work.
Paparazzi this is cool. My only concern is his left arm. It doesnt quite have that tension it so deserves; the hand is fairly small, and the distance between wrist to elbow is a lil looong.
Over all, like the expression, line work, color and movement!
not bad for a nights work!
quick point - couldve been a bit more dynamic where it really matters.
Our eyes follow his arms and the payoff - the hands and gun - aren't that interesting - needs alot more exxageration.
And this is just my preference - but I would get rid of the mountains and sky (or simplify it) altogether so his solhouette stands out against a stark BG... but again - personal taste (just dont like the colors and the look of the mountains and sky thats all)
love the reds and green on him though
Very good!!It has movement,violence,feeling....maybe the colors in the background are not the correct ones,in my opinion.
Congratulations for your "doodle"!
Revolvers do not eject spent cartridges as they are fired. They must be manually ejected when the cylinder is opened.
well....I didn't quite expect this many responses for such a half arsed drawing.....But YEEEEY...you guys rule!!
Sleepy Head I'm glad you are digging it....welll....I consider it a doodle becasue there was no planning behind it and I just finished it in one sitting....4-5 hrs maybe...thanks for checking in...I have more stuff at... www.freewebs.com/salamunicart/
HPDIZZO Geoff Darrow?.....I am honored!!!hehe
Molly phew..I really need to change my username....it's getting lame..just call me Tin..Hehehe...thanks for the crit....Now that my eyes are wide open after a long nights sleep..all the mistakes are just sticking out like needles..LOL
Rascar Capac Is that Rin Tin Tin on your Icon?..Thas funny..cos my real name is Tin....anywyas, thanks for the crit..and I completely agree with you. This is drawing is the result of 0 planning....lack of coffee.....and a stupid desperation to finish it..hahaha...thanks for checking in buddy!
Camara Thank you for sropping in .....I think the colors could have used some more work..I wish I could have distributed that red a bit more..but ohwell...one learns from mistakes.
Penabledhmm...the one I got at Toys R Us did..LOL...kidding..you are right..I just needed a silly excuse to pop in a few yellows...LOL
Yellows huh? How about in the muzzle flash?
I like it a lot. The line work has a really nice feel to it and so does the coloring. The only comment I could make is that you have a revolver pistol ejecting empty bullet shells which is something a revolver doesn't do.
Looks like some else caught the revolver thing so i guess I'm being redundant.
The work looks great!
this peice of work is very good for a doodle! it looks like something that you took hours on. if you can make this within 5 - 30 mins, im interested in what you can make in 3 - 4 hours. this is some great stuff you got here. overall great work. keep it up!
Tasty BitS darn..the revolver thing is haunting me..hahahaha////but u're right tho..thanks for the crit.
FallChild well...it did actually take me about 4-5 hours to complete....I call it a dodle coz no planning went behind it and it was done in one straight sitting! thanks for checking in.
I like the style and the tension u had tried creating! overall your doodle is damn thrillin to watch! keep em coming!
Change is here to stay....i guess!!

no its tintin- no Rin in front of itRascar Capac Is that Rin Tin Tin on your Icon?..Thas funny..cos my real name is Tin....anywyas, thanks for the crit..and I completely agree with you. This is drawing is the result of 0 planning....lack of coffee.....and a stupid desperation to finish it..hahaha...thanks for checking in buddy!
another quick not that can help alot is the bullet trail grazing his shoulder is almost in the middle, straight and parallel with the fence so just angling that a bit can add more dynamism to the piece
Chaotica Thanks Buddy....I'm glad you are liking it
Chupacabra Heeeey buddy..thanks for stopping in....glad you're digging this piece....I was lacking cowboy drawings, so I couldn't help myself..LOL
Rascar Capac My bad, In my country, they call it Rin Tin Tin....but yea...I dind't even notice the trail....now it really bothers me too..thanks for noticing buddy!!
Tin this is fantastic...his expression really does it for me I like the spot highlights on the caps and the color of the sky especially.
Thundercake Thanks a bunch....I was a bit concerned about the background at first..because it doesn't seem to fit the foreground too well....But I'm glad it works for you.... ^__^' Thanks for checking in!!
Really love the overall design and coloring of this piece, only thing I would fix is the already received critiques about the arms length and structure, along with the revolver rounds self ejecting, otherwise AWESOME.
Checked out the stuff on your website man, awesome work. Must ask though, do you use the Pen tool for the darker outline or do you just trace the initial sketch with a brush?
Great pic, has alot of action and energy.
When I look at it, I see it like a single movie frame... so I think that it would have looked even better with 'widescreen' type sizing.
my sketches here... http://conceptart.org/forums/showthread.php?t=92997
www.sevans.co.nz , visit them or a puppy dies!
Ellingsworth Thank you for looking at my work buddy...I'm glad you are digging it. In terms of the inking...everything is done traditionally....I trace the pencil sketch with either a very thin brush pen , using Higgins ink, or use a micron for the more detailed stuff....The only thing I do digitally is actually the flat coloring!
SEVANS Yo are right..it probably would have looked better...I just wasn't giving the piece enough thought at that moment..thank you for the crit buddy..and thanks for checking in!!
I wish I could *doodle* like that
This is a REALLY nice piece!

Pretty amazing for a doodle! I like the really clean lined look.
Besides the colours in the background, everything looks AWESOME for me. Love the colours on the dude aswell, they came out great. Keep up the greatwork.
shannowman thanks a bunch..glad u're liking it!!
