HumbleEgo: Yes, it's Orlando. I used a movie still for reference but I think I was viewing it from an angle, so it ended up a little skewed. I need a bigger apartment!

I'm really liking the comicbook style you have in places. Also, the way you place your colors on your colored pieces is cool as well, it's nice and liberal.

I really like the colors you pull into your digital paintings, you should try some of the more vibrant stuff in your oils, it could be pretty neat.

Thank you, frog. Straight from the tube, as they say. I'll have to give it a try.

This is my entry for a book cover competition over in Community Activities. It's painted in oils and finished in photoshop. I had lots of fun doing it.

Thanks for your kind comments, friends.

I have just come back from the single most inspiring week of my life at the Illustration Master Class. Instructors Rebecca Guay, Donato Giancola, Greg Manchess, Scott Fischer, Dan DosSantos, Boris Vallejo, and Julie Bell were absolutely wonderful, giving, and patient. If they do this again, I recommend you don't miss it.

Here is some of my life drawing from the class. I hadn't drawn from a live model in four or five years.
