This one came out a little rough, but that's okay.

    5 x 7 inches, oil on masonite.

This is my first try at a time lapse painting video. It was fun, I'll do more.

Been a while, sketchbook. I was posting in the fine arts section, but maybe it's a little more appropriate for these photo ref studies to go here. These are no more than 2 hr sketches.

I love the colors and lighting in the last painting of the hens! Seems like a more balanced palette than the other ones.

Thanks Blizzard5291. I used more of an open palette with the hen painting.

    Trying for some thicker paint.

Wonderul! It is so nice seeing traditional work on this site, considering there's not so much
traditional painting compared to digital. Thanks for sharing, keep posting.

BlackDelphin: Thank you. I used to do a little digital, but it was almost like there were too many options and tools. 10+ years of traditional, and I'm still learning new ways to use a hairy stick.
    Merē.Jorg: Thank you very much.
