    BIGGER color palette?

I was just wondering if there was a way to stretch the color tool-window so that it would be a little easier to pick very subtle differences in color. It seems a little small (especially for small tablets). Thanks.

Nope, I don't think it's possible. But it's something I'd like to see as well. The color wheel and color mixer should be to be resized. People are running a lot higher resolutions today and those palettes keep "shrinking".

Roger is right. There's no way to enlarge the Colors palette.

While the Mixer palette can't be enlarged, we can click and drag in the Mixer Pad to mix colors in a larger area. I don't bother with that because whatever was there before I dragged to another area can't be seen as it's dragged out of view.

It's easier to do mixing on a new Canvas if I need more room, even though colors don't mix exactly the same way as they do in the Mixer palette (white is picked up from the Canvas while it's not picked up from the Mixer Pad background).

Please do not PM me with Painter questions. Instead, post them here where everyone can benefit from them. Thanks!

P.S. Correction to my previous post:

Technically, the Mixer palette can be enlarged. What can't is the content of the palette.

The group of palettes in which the Mixer palette is docked, first needs to be enlarged by clicking and dragging the lower right corner.

Then, if the Mixer palette is dragged out of the group, it too is enlarged but as you can see in the demo below, the content remains the same size.

The Mixer palette can't be stretched larger or smaller when it's undocked from the group of other palettes.
