    character designs of classic tales

I'd done these for my classes in the past semester. They're all redesigns of fairly well-known stories such as Jack & the Beanstalk, Vasilissa and Baba Yaga, The Last Unicorn, and the Little Mermaid. The last one is a character of my own, a little faun/cat-like scribe.

Hi there - very nice work: it's simple yet complexed, smooth and clear with superbly chosen color tones. Good luck on the project!

Absolutely lovely. These are such a wonderful combination of graphic and illustration styles. They feel like treasured images from a favourite story book I never had.

yea. Yea, the unified proportions give everything a real connected feel. And technically, its just great.

If I had money, I'd hire you

You have magical powers little missy! ^ ^

Tell me you are working on some sort of story book or graphic novel. I really love your finished technique. If i had to nit pick I would like to see a bit more elegant back on the mermaid. The musculature of the female back can be very flowing and beautiful, yours feels a wee bit rigid. But anyways, awesome' stuff nonetheless.

Wonderful work as usual, though the mermaid doesn't excite me much. It's good and all, but I think your other work makes me forget it, if that makes any sense. Rockin' work, thanks for showing it.
