    The Future of Food

Great documentary... I'ts been around a while but I haven't seen it posted here I don't think. Invaluable education about what Genetically modified food actually means, the politics, processess and consequences of it:

    I recommend it to all.

Even if he did, what is he going to do about it? Protest?

    Just watched it...

    It's Not People!!!

No but seriously this is rediculous. There are so many things to make a big deal about in this society, we just might not be able to create a loud enough voice for it unless the farmers do something... We are already busy enough complaining about our government.

Well, for a start, you can go to this website, look up your representatives in congress and educate them about the issue by writing/emailing/calling

    http://www.vote-smart.org/official_f...g_category.php

Congressman as a general rule have less moral reasoning power than the average citizen, especially since corporate america likes to line their pockets with green. This creates a convenient amnesia of what they are in office to do. It's our jobs, at the very least, to remind them of THEIR jobs... and to educate them about moral boundaries...

...like for instance the patenting of life.

    I'd say lets try cannibalism.

Then again, I'm sure there would be people protesting against genetically modified humans like bodybuilders.

This documentary can be summed up and expanded a bit:

GM food = constant use of pesticides (bigger consumption of oil) + corporate helped destruction of natural variety = less resistance to pests = faster use of resources = food crisis

    Whoops?
