    Contacting Artists

Is there a 'proper' way to contact an artist from this forum? I tried contacting few but I never get any replies. I figure they're busy and all but sometimes I wonder if I'm not saying the right stuff. Pointers?

Bad luck maybe. What are you contacting them about/what are you saying or asking? If it's just to say that you like the work, sometimes people feel shy and don't know what to say. Sometimes people mean to respond later but it gets pushed down on the email list and slips their mind.
