dleewa01, dont put yourself down because you are not the best at proportions, ALOT of people have alot of trouble with it. If you wish to take it a step further with studying proportions though, try to find a life drawing class nearby, life drawing classes consist of a group of artists who draw a model (nude figure, male or female) that sits/stands/remains in a pose for between 2 minutes for quick gestures or warmups to 2 hours or so, maybe more.

Sometimes the same classes will do still lifes which also helps with drawing but regardless, if you go to school and have an art teacher, or someone you know that is in the art industry, ask them where you could find a life drawing class, or just ask around until you can find one in your area . Life drawing classes can also cost per session, over here in Australia, the one I go to costs only $6 AU for 2 hours, but I have heard of others that charge quite alot.

Hope this helps some, and again, dont worry if you're not good at something, just keep practicing on it, everyone else does, including the vets, and they keep getting better because of it and so can you .

by life drawing classes would get use to measure things in 3d space, for each pose, arm is that long, and it reaches what in which position, with pratice and observation, is something to work out and not giving up

If you think you can t Draw, just draw more
