been real busy lately working on stuff for idiot as well as more for Mr. warren fitzpatrick. so....

Rumple- I agree with most everything you said! and im trying to work on those. ive got three more concepts to do in pencil that will resemble that stiff style, but then i wanna blow the doors open on some posework!

2 more for warren, a cloaked judge costume concept, followed by a dragon (that isnt quite done yet)

    more soon, i hope.

    hello hello
been very busy working on concepts for mr. fitzpatrickkkkk,
but anyhow, im not going to lie-- been slacking a bit as well.
anyhow, back on the ball this week, heres a new concept commision for a man covered in a swarm of insects from 'the message'. this piece IS NOT finished yet, and needs some work, especially in the feet and muscle definition. second is a close up of the characters face with a little bit of grayscale definition to clean up the clutter. third is another study for Idiotapathy, a lip study i banged out in a couple hours. im ok with it. more soon!

oy...been busy coloring. lots of thanks on this first one to mr delicious--trying to find a color style that fits my heavy penciling. heres 2 more for warren fitzpatrick's upcoming book. 2 lion based warriors, with a comic style coloring, and a texture style coloring.

    Yeah dan!
Your pencil work looks much better in person, it's hard to appreciate all the little details you put into everything in such a small picture.

It could just be me, but on that last picture, it seems as if the axe is mounted on the back side of that guys closed fist, rather then in it. Is that how it is supposed to be?

Beautiful works. U have a good understanding of anatomy, values, and proportion. U also have a lot of imagination, i can see that.Very good details and clean lines. Ur use of color is nice, but i'd like to see your pieces look more realistic, in terms of light and texture. I can't tell you how to do that (I'm not so good myself, LOL) But itz what i see from other artists here on CA, but keep posting, Ill subscribe
Comment my crappy art PLEEZ ; )
