I think I discover stuff everyday.. it's always a learning experience... ermm.. that's rather a textbook answer.. recently? I am experimenting a lot with colours.. well just not being too chicken about it.. also edge control.. not over rendering... well the progress is slow for me as well.. my thoughts are like way ahead of myself sometimes.. i think it's important to take a step back and take it easy when it gets a little frustrating!

ikuru, ermm let's see.... you will have to figure out what works best for you. unfortunately that varies so much between I think... one of the reason why steps and tuts are sometimes aren't so useful...(as I am about to do!!)

I think for colour it's like blocking in stage with local colours.. then shape it... sometimes it's random tho.. but probably the best approach.. colour percentage? opacity u mean? around 50~60%, 30 if I am doing the details but I try not to these days.. over rendering is also a bad habit I reckon... yeah some of those links on CA is really old...really old.. I should put up a new list...

after last weeks ChOW i decided I need to study up anatomy.. some beefy men, from arnie's body building book. best $50 I ever spent.. 5~6mins each.. just trying to get the overall feel of the muscle groups... for beefy men.. more studies from the book coming up..

rendering still... spent few hours rendering it... and fixing anatomy.. got rid of the bird.. didn't work too well..
added smoke and fixed little things.. adjustment layer...all done..
