You are definitely on the right track buddy, the improvement is clear to see :)
These studies are a great lesson in colour and composition.
The Dieselpunk Warlock looks great, I would love to see it taken further :)

Great start to your sketchbook.
The armour study is very well done and yout anatomy looks pretty sharp. If this is a sign of things to come Im excited to watch you progress.
The qaulity and amount of studies your completing is very impressive and is paying off in the form of some beautiful personal work.
