I'm looking for a good refillable fountain pen that I can put acrylic ink into so I can put fine details on my paintings, I just don't really know what I'm looking for or how to actually refill the...

You shouldn't need either a soft box or umbrella either way. A soft box and umbrella are used to diffuse light and make softer shadows that direct light will cause. Unless you plan to paint still...
Thank you all for your help, I really appreciate it.
I've bought some basic colors of the cheaper student grade paint and plan to practice with those.
Thank you both for the help. I think I will stick with Liquitex Basics then, since I already use Liquitex heavy body paints I hope there won't be too much of a difference, at least in colors.
I really just want to know if there is a major difference in the lasting (over years) for artists grade, student grade, and craft acrylic paint. I wanted to paint with acrylic paint like watercolor...
Thank you for your quick reply, it was very helpful.
I'll probably end up just laying down the boxes as you said, if I laid down plastic sheeting my cat would think it's a toy to shred.
I'm going to be moving to a new house soon and the entire place is carpeted in beige, so my studio will also have carpet in it. I know that I will eventually get paint on this very pale carpet so I'd...
So, right now I'm using an I4 tablet from wacom, but I want a second tablet for my laptop... And I want a cheaper one so if I drop it or something, it won't be too big of a deal if I drop it.

Thank you for letting me know. This saves me from buying more nibs. Or at least for a bit.
And yeah, I just got my I4 surface worn down so it wouldn't eat the nibs as fast.... But I didn't know...
I was just curious, I own an Intuos4 and am getting a Bamboo Fun.
Are the pen nibs interchangable? Or would I need to buy new ones for the Bamboo Fun?
[Just curious because I just bought new ones...
Lol. Thank you, and yeah, I drew that one a long time ago. There are quite a few mistakes in that one. >.<
@ Johnny Kane - I use a mechanical pencil, does the size matter?
@ JeffX99 - That really helps. I do hold a pencil as if I'mm writing instead of the way that you describe.
And I play violin, so...
Okay, thank you.
I'll try that too.
@ dpaint - I'll try that. Thank you.
@ Vay - Will photos work? I don't get out of the house that often...
I tend to have a sketch underneath and then when I go to draw the clean line art, that's where I have troubles.
I just can't get the lines to go in a sweepy motion because my hands start shaking...
It sounds like we have the same problem...
And yeah I do have very poor hand-eye coordination. x:
I also heard somewhere that it could be poor muscles in your hand?
I just wanted some tips on how to draw lines more nice and in longer sweeping motions.
I've just recently found out that I 'pet' my lines, but I'm having a hard time breaking this habit because my...
As said, I'm looking for a portable tablet for my laptop.
The large Intuos is not portable in the least.
I need a little help deciding on a protable tablet for my laptop that I just got.
I am torn between the Intuos 4 Small and the Bamboo Fun.
I want the Bamboo Fun because it's larger working...
Mine didn't seem to warp when I had it sitting in direct sunlight for a prolonged period of time. [My desk is under a window]
But I really didn't pay much attention.

I haven't updated in awhile...
Here's something I'm working on now:
Still so much to do though!
I just use a towel, but mostly I just need to clean dust off of mine...
If it's really neccessary I get a corner of it wet and wring it out very well to where it is nearly dry again and wipe it...
