Thanks for a great resource. It definately came in handy for my Il. Methods homework. :)
It really came together once you painted it. All the details are very nice. Awesome job for a first time :)
Amazing work! I love the textures and the feel of the image. The only thing that bothers me is the sword.. it seems to be curved. But great use of traditional/digital media. Very nice :D
there's something disturbing in that image, just in the way they move. :) I like it.
wow! great job! this'd make a great postcard. :)
School assignment.. self-portrait telling a story, so here I am with Russian church domes behind me. Black watercolor on watercolor paper.
great colors and concept, but i'd like to see something.. anything in the lower left.. it's just so empty
the ink sketch is outstanding.. the digital colors.. not so much. other than being washy, that blue planet's wayy too distracting.
great job, overall. i've been amazed several times throughout this thread, and you're STILL not done.. can't wait to see what else you come up with. Love the animations too. :)
great design on the animal there, and i like them clouds.. but there's so much space.. i think the image'd work better if you threw in at least something else in here.. like dead branches.. and...
the first is quite breath taking, both in the amazing detail work and it's over all cool-ness :) The other two are good two, the second though, try a diff crop of the tail.. it looks like it's...
a cool design, but i think iron man needs color to pop off the page more, and he wants his foot not be cut off like that >.<
The pencil/graphite drawing up top is top notch btw.
Very nice. He appears to be almost melting into the wall behind him, and I like how you've applied the colors here, mixing them with textures. My only complaint is that his right arm seems off, or...
In just a short time, you've improved tremendously, so YAY!! :)
My most favorite from all this, though, is the drawing of you (?), the third from the top. You've captured a very mischevious look...
Gwar!! Dinosaurs! Lol. Great work. Varied, and persistent. I dare say you're improving too, so keep at it.
something you can try, is paint the shadows with the complement of the color.. so since fair skin tones are a weird yellowish, pinkish tones, put in accents of green and purple into the skin, to have...
Very nice work. My personal favorite are your ink doodles.
Great stuff you have here. :) Do you have any more of the observational kind?
at 13, you're certainly off to a good start. Just keep at it, maybe take some classes. And practice practice practice. :)
p.s. I love the squid. A neat and interesting concept. :D
i like this image, and the concept. the expression on the tiger's face is outstanding, and fitting. The back legs bother me more than anything else in here, although everything else i'm willing to...
it's alright. He's just upset he doesn't get to come to CCAD.
did someone say big improvement? Oh, yes, that'd be me. :) Great job on all these. :)
You're not "not good enough" :D Personally, websites and books will only take you so far. Have you considered taking any art related classes?
An image such as this, might be better served by a taller and narrower composition. Also try having the man facing the horde. If he appears to be facing up to them, it'd be very interesting to see....
