Nice study Misty. I like the brush work too. Based on your previous study some sharper edges and specular highlights in the right places will really help put the focus on the face.

Love the heavy armoured sketch. Nice to see some different work from you:)
Collaboration piece.. . love it! Even just some small metallic-y highlights on the collar or shoulders might tie the head in with the body a little more.
