Hey, thanks man.I hope I can keep it going and not get bored.
Here's one more. The image originally had a robot getting it's head blown off,but I'm not happy with the way the bot turned out.So I've...
I love the designs of Yama's disciples/followers.Great looking weapons too.You should do an individual series highlighting each of them
Wow,this thread has been dead too long.I've always wanted to revisit the little series I started, but never found the time.I've had a small break in work recently and have managed to add two more...
Here is one more. Not a major leap forward in terms of the design at all.Just an excuse for me to paint cloth and forearms.
It is supposed to be cloth at the end as well.Others have pointed this out as well about the coat material being a bit vague at the moment.I'll address it the next time I use the coat. Thanks for...
He's actually just standing around and not taking aim.But point noted. It looked fine when I drew it.I think I screwed up on the lighting on the hand.
There will definitely be more.Soon as I get a long enough break from regular work.:)
I'll be sure to pay more attention on my next piece. Thanks for pointing it out!
Thank you so much for the critique. The glasses in the first iteration had a jaw piece as well(not sure thats visible) and I ditched that in favor of showing more of his face.It gave me more room for...
Thanks guys!I'll keep updating as often as I can.:)
Thanks so much Chris! The glasses are a mystery to me too.:)
Thanks!I hope I can take this that far.
Here is the next in the series.Given him someone to tangle with.
Thanks so much Ray!As of now this is just a fun little project on the side.:)
The latest iteration. The armor is tweaked a lot.He needs a better belt I still feel. Will do a better design on the next one.More or less satisfied now with how the head looks.Drawing the damage was...
Further tweaks to the glasses and armor.Still retained the flowing coat, because I love drawing high contrast shadows.:)
A character I've been developing gradually for the past year, between work.
Its slowly evolving into something I kind of like.
I hope to continue adding to the design and build a story around him...
Yeah,I too felt I deviated a bit too much from the central theme.Thats what free reign does to you I guess.
Of many, these are the Primary forms from Alchemy that I used to create the armor.
This was my submission for Ubiworkshop's call for entries.
Assassin's Creed fans were given free reign to draw their versions of the titular character from the popular video games.
@ keith, thanks for the critique.what you say is true.I was going for a casual grip on the gun.I'll tweak it some more.
Thanks guys :)
Like many,I was introduced to the character through the movies.Although I loved the movie and was vaguely familiar with Mike Mignola's art,I never actually looked through his work on Hellboy.
here's a bigger version.Hopefully you'll spot the differences between the initial post and the current one
I had thought of putting fog...but going with the hard lines of the rest of the drawing, the soft edges of fog would distract I feel.
