Thanks again blankstate, I tried to get it as closely as I can.
Thanks lovingit, I tried to fix up the anatomy issue with the boar and the rider's position.
I don't really know how to deal with the color issue, I just added more blue into the shadows.
Edit: Docterod my bad, I thought you were dotcov for a second.
So you want some what of what someone feels or think of when they look at this art piece.
Well, it makes me think of a midget with deformed arms and have knees for elbows. She also looked like she...
I finished as far as I could.
Actually nevermind, I think I want to change back to a more simpler design. I think the current one is unnecessarily complicated.
Would like someone's opinion...
Even with that, there's still no indication of them being drowned by others, if the op didn't tell the me the reason why they are drowning, I wouldve think they just fell off a boat during the night...
I'm almost finished.
I decide to go for the green one to make it stick more true to my original idea.
I'm stuck with getting the lighting right in the hind side
Well if you did start with planes, the lighting on your planes are probably wrong. There should be some light on her forehead since her chest got light hitting it from the top. Her cheeks should also...
The reason why I suggested adding other elves is that you can show why the particular one is special, What is about her that is different from the other elves that made them reject her?
2 colored versions. For the orange one I tried to follow Blankstate's color but for some reason I can't get it to look right.
Wow thanks, those reference are perfect, I got to remember to step back and double check for perspective problems.
For some reason the comp felt better to me when I flipped it.

I fixed it up, I gray out the right tree to kill the framing, and blur out the trees in the back and the back of the pig, and refine the grass and the tree on the left some more to...
Okay this is the design I am going to go for.
Thanks again for all of you guy's help.
It is still not working, your rocks still looks like play doh, I think you should just start over and make sure you construct everything.]
Or maybe it be good if you put this aside and study some...
Can I ask you what is the work for? Is it personal?
I'm not sure what are you trying to say, is this your original work with a style based off Bernard, or is this a copy of Bernard's work?
I decided I'm just gonna try sticking with the orginal pteranodon version. I think I can make it work out better after learning a bit more about composition.
For the color scheme I'm going to give...
Also there's no way I could tell this elf is a special elf, maybe add other elfs around her looking at her drowning?
I went on to change it up.
I have a question, are u suppose to try to use as many composition rule out there in your picture?
@graphiterocks thanks, maybe I might go for the sec left one with some of the boar's design changed.
I dunno, I thought having the trees roughly repeat the boar's contour would be good. No?
I think if you cut the sides off the composition would look better since you got alot of pointless empty space.
try looking at a mirror and draw your own mouth, also it be good to construct your work.
I like the design so far, it looks like it has potential.
thnx for the advice
Here are my new thumbnails
After trying suggested ideas and a few things I came up, I'm still not sure if they look right, so I went back and see if my old ideas might work...
