I did about 25 of these 8x10 landscape studies in oil over the summer. im going to start posting every day wish me luck.
i was checking out someones sketchbook, and there was your post, your going to write something a little deeper if you want someone to check you out, lol. did i miss anything in figure class?

i really like the work you are doing. When you do the photostudies, instead of trying to copy the image, look for interesting shapes, and exaggerate certain things, use your artistic license. will...
I was trying to say that your work DID look finished. the loose painterly strokes are what help make a piece interesting. i was just surprised someone one would comment about that in a sketchbook.
finish them?! i like everything you are doing. they have a loose quality about them like craig mullins, but more cartoony, but not unfinished. I enjoy your style. keep posting i want to see more....
this one is old, but i fixed a tangent on the tree from the mountain, i took the whole thing out, looks a lot better. black border makes it look more like its not unfinished.
they liked the drawing during the critique, but i totally botched the assignment, I got confused when he talked about a shadow core, some how i got reflected light in there. IDK.
your work is amazing, i love your style, its incredible. I've never seen someone's work vary in style differences as yours, its great.

im really liking all of your work a lot, very impressive. for pointers on the portrait, her left eye(our right) doesn't seem it turns as well as the mouth does, maybe its that shadow above the eye,...
i see a lot of improvement from your earlier posts, keep it up man. looking good. and make sure you draw lighter when you start a drawing, i like to use a hb at first.
i love your use of value and painterly strokes in your pencil sketches. all your work is amazing.
