I personally like the last two images. Imaginative. Would like to see a finished version if you ever decide to work on them more.
Thanks for all the suggestions.
I decided to scrap the character and rework the composition and the pose of the character making sure that perspective and proportions and more accurate.
That face is looking awesome. Good progress!
Maybe put some crows, or other type of birds (owls), in the background. Make them flying upwards at an angle in general direction of her face (from lower right corner to upper left corner).
Hey, here is an image that I had submitted to Epilogue.net to go in my gallery. They require that the images get approved by their editors.
This is the third time this version of the...
Love it! Some of your stuff is simply bizzarro!
Awesome works! Love the first one the most.
Might also want to look into how the body naturally shifts it's weight.
Look up the term "Contrapposto".
Also, and this might seem like an odd suggestion, but take a Sculpture class. Or at...
Nice! Like the sagittarius one.
What are you using for your 2D work and 3D work? Photoshop and ZBrush?
Holy smokes! Love the textures, colors, narrative feel, etc. Some of your digital works look like traditional media. Love it all. Gonna save this in my inspiration folder.
Wow, thanks for sharing!
Hey, just want to say thanks to GoldenSerpent, Lennon, Tinybird, and everyone else for suggestions. I took everyones tips and incorporated them into my image.
So this is my final image. It was...
Ok, I incorporated your suggestions. Much thanks to GoldenSerpent!
This is a rough paint over. Will add some detail to the water and shoreline.
Before I go any further with detail. Does the...
Cool suggestion and image.
I agree the dragons head needs about a 3/4 turn. Will work on it. Also like the loose/flying feathers and dust idea to create action.
Thanks for the suggestions.
Here is what the Epilogue site says about their "Composition need work" comment.
Composition needs work - The composition could be cluttered, confusing, or skewed....
First, I like the clouds. They have a colorful swirly effect.
Overall the image is too center focused. This is mainly due to the center pylon building and the arches on the upper corners.
Wow, your detail rendering is crazy on that Niddler piece.
How many hours did you put into that?
Hey, I tried submitting this image to Epilogue.net but it got rejected by their editors saying "Composition needs work". They usually give the short general one-sentence reason like this.
I saw the 7Wonders board game at Barnes and Nobles bookstore the other day. It was a fairly big box with your cover image on it.
It's always quite a site to recognize something that was posted...
Great stuff! After going through this whole thread I have to say you've improved a lot.
The desert scene and the spherical spaceships are top notch!
Simply amazing. Thanks for posting your work.
Good stuff. Like the dragon one. The spider one is a little confusing at the spot where the guy is standing - but maybe that's just me.
This is good stuff. Like the Princess Sophia and the last Dragon images.
