ah cool! nice to have a video.
I would also love to see a video of one of those sketchpages, but that might make it stressing?
Since it's like a bit of therapy for you, I don't feel like pushing...
I always love these pages, they are like mazes of awesome.
and yes you should finish that painting :D I check your blog daily just so you know.
congrats man, it came out super awesome!
forever a fan of you.
you should've painted that ;)
cool scribble man. one day my finished work will look as good as your scribbles.
happy new year robogabo! may it be a year full of satisfying hard work. :)
yeah you missed it. it's in this thread somewhere, begin from the last page and work your way down.
always a pleasure coming here.
updates look great, like usual :)
epic colours on that last piece. sweet update.
also thx for that arzach piece, I'm a big arzach/moebius fanboy, the colours and texture really does it justice.
Thank you for your constant updates robo. It's always inspiring.
funny I have the book where that photograph is published in.
keep at it!
you updated on my birthday!
what a nice gift.
thx for the tutorial. never would've guessed you used this process.
thx for dropping these, they are very inspirational.
I agree with howie
very nice update man, always inspiring.
good luck with the work thing man, but I'm sure such talent as yours will always land on his paws/feet.
these are really, really awesome, I'm not kidding, I was feeling really down today. and I thought maybe cal has updated his sketchbook today. Yet in the back of my head I went like;"naaaah too good...
that last one reminded me of the comics by mattotti. Now it makes me wonder how you would pull off colored pencils.
glad i found this sketchbook
wow I can really see the influence of the pencil sketches. so much depth. very vivid.
It must be really satisfying to see it all come together.
woohoo! :D thanks Cal!
you are a beast.
the texture you've added to the soldier dude, kinda gives it a more oilpainting feeling.
I think I'm gonna start a new sketchbook on ca today or...
damn dude! do I regret not checking your sb out for a few days.
now it feels like an overdose. f*cking visual heroin.
Don't mind the ratings, it takes a while before people recognise genius....
Meh, I just don't know what to say.
great concepts as usual, great characters as usual,
I like the use of texture in the last one.
