You're getting some nice depth to this recent batch of sketchbook pages. I'm seeing a lot more volume and solidity to some of these guys, particularly the cheesecake on the last page, and the big fat...

Wow, I hadn't seen the foundation painting studio. Looks nice and airy. Does it have good ventilation without the windows open? The studio I was in a couple years ago had terrible vent, so we had to...

YOur copies are good, but some of the shapes look a little off. Do you rough in the shape of things before going to detail? Notably, I see in the head on the daVinci copy looking a little squashed,...

I like your still life. The lines are interesting, and I mean that in a good way; they hold interest. The thick line on the side of the cone botters me a bit though. It seems too.. mechanical and...

I like your enviros a lot. I do find things a little blurry (especially your figure paints) at times, so you might want to think about edges a little harder. I hear a lot about it around these parts....

Hey Will! Good to see you working on the full poses, but be aware of your center lines! That "daydream" drawing that is getting so much attention has some spinal problems!

I like your gestures. They're making me think I should haul my easel out and do getures on newsprint instead of tiny sketchbook ones.

Those legs are looking good to me. I know what you mean about looking at the Bridgman stuff and wondering how it actually all applies to drawing people. Some of his drawings can be incredibly vague,...

What exacly is the "wtf" in the Bridgman studies? Don't worry too much about it maybe, some of Bridgman's plates in his book are made of drunk drawing. That's why I'm combining his stuff with Rubins....

Nice colours on the comic. I have to say though, that it took me a long time of looking at it to see the click over the guy's head in panel 3, and also to decide that the running man in panel 4 was...

I'm really liking your texture exploration here. They're looking really good, and inspiring me to quit clinging to my HB pencil and do the work I know I should be doing in Painter. Thanks for that.

I'm impressed you got to do that much painting at NSCAD at all in Foundation. I took the painting/printmaking foundation class, and we barely did any painting at all. Second year, however, I took...

re: eyes: Don't forget that the eye is a sphere that needs to fit inside the skull. I've heard that the face is 5 eyes across, but I've never been able to draw like that. Too fiddly and rigid.

Bridgman has little books and a big "complete" book out. I reccomend the little books, both Constructive Anatomy and Life Drawing first, have been the ones I'd heard, then look at The Human Mahine...
