I know, I know .. I didn't post any sketches yesterday.
Except the weird squid-prawn thing .. Which doesn't really count. That was just for fun.
So that just means I have to suck it up and do a...
Just a little something I did real quick last night and early this morning.
I was inspired by COW's newest creature creation, a bio-luminescent invertebrate.
I give you, the Squawn (squid-prawn...
Day Three - 15 hand studies
Day Two - 10 Head studies
Love you work lady!
I really dig the cartoon-like mermaid and fish, then again, Im a sucker for traditional line art.
Everything is coming along very nicely, I can't wait to see more.
Very nice works so far!
For some reason the tree studies really stood out for me, Im not sure why though.
Keep up the great work, I can't wait to see more. :)
Very nice works, man!
Definitely gonna keep an eye on this thread.
Keep it goin'! :)
Love your work, man.
Can't wait to see what else ya got! :)
Nice start Jill!
Love your digital cityscape, very well done.
You've got a good grasp on the anatomy studies, which is great! (Love your little notes, haha)
I'd love to see what else you've...
Very nice start, man!
I agree with Cozmo, drop the tablet for a bit and start with the basics. Get those fundamentals down first!
And remember, practice really does make perfect, so try to...
Very nice! You've made some real improvements.
Keep up with the anatomy studies! :)
Very nice style!
It's nice to copy from your favorite artists every once in a while, but try referencing from some real life photos sometimes, or just step outside and sketch a quick landscape.
Alright, here we go with Day One of the schedule - 15 full figure studies (female):
Just wanted to stop in and say very nice work man!
Noticed you over on COW, loved your sketches.
Keep up the awesome work, Im definitely gonna keep an eye on this thread - You're a real...
Alright, so since it's been a long while since I've actually sketched anything out on a daily basis, I figured I'd make a schedule for the up coming week and (really) try to stick to it.
I love that you're studying and referencing from some of the great classics! :)
Ah, and an actual painter I see! Very nice.
I was thinking all of your work was digital, but it's nice to see...
Very nice landscapes!
The only critique I have is on your last skull post (2/26), the perspective and proportions seem to be off a bit, the skull looks too elongated. The front-side (face) of the...
Alright, my first critique was going to be, "lighten things up a bit" - Everything seemed a bit dark and muddy.
But I see that you've been working on that, so well done!
You've come a very long way...
Very cool man! Love your work.
I love how stylized everything is, very original and unique.
Keep it up! :)
I'd like to point out that my old PC crashed a few months back, so ever since then I've been using my husband mini netbook.
Which doesn't have Photoshop on it, unfortunately.
So don't expect...
Alright, here are some things that I haven't posted yet:
(Sorry about the crappy image quality on this one!)
Love the landscapes, man! You're really coming along with those.
Good sense of color, perspective could use some work though.
Keep it comin'! :)
Amazing job on the train! So much detail, I love it.
Great job on the portrait sketches as well, seems like you've really got the shading down.
I'd love to see more stuff in color, if possible. :)...
No critiques from me .. Just wanted to say you've got some great stuff in here! :)
