    I would not make the color outside the border of the picture white, it's a little too bright and blinding in my opinion. I would make it a more desaturated/muted color that's found in the picture...

    I think you could push the shadows a little...

    I think you could push the shadows a little farther, and embellish the background a tad, but overall I think its pretty good. The dragon looks good, it is a small dragon though, right?

    I would add a rimlight to the plant in the lower right, add some texture to the rock the creature is on and start working the water. The background environment could use a bit more work too.
