Look forward to seeing you.
A true honor to step inside the secret hidden bright corridors, of your brainblowing majestic
artistic creative mind maze. Eye candies and sweet foamed soul food all around. I do make a
pretty good love how you can see the faces.
Man that first Bolt image is stellar... Id try and figure out how to send that to him.
wow impressive work! thx for sharing!
Reaaaaly love how you made it this far.
I'm but a simple begginer, but maybe it will help you, i'd see it somewhat like this (just a base colour):
i really love the comp and the water and sky. for me the mans face really lets this down. for one his face should be rim lit from that angle. but it looks very un referenced and seing as its a focal...
I agree about the face, its coming across as a weak point. This always happens to me, one of my focal points causes problems, and my less detailed areas look cool. :wtf: lol
This image may help...
You've done a GORGEOUS job with the churning ocean. Very chaotic.
I think it's okay the creature's mouth is underwater. The scariest thing to me about sea monsters is the fact that you can't see...
One thing i've seen is that the water droplets from the waves near his head are too small and look like foreground waves, not closeup splashes.
The creature looks like its right next to the guy...
It's a small crit, but I feel like if I saw a giant spikey sea-monster coming at me I'd raise my hand or make some violent motion to get away from it. It kind of looks like he is just floating there...
Or you could just repaint it, using the value drawing as a guide. In this case, it's a bit too detailed for that, though.
Well, there's tutorials in Youtube:
Overall the only thing that bothers me in the image is that as the creature is diving, it looks bit less like it's going for the...

This looks great PATRAM!! Im starting mine I'll put it up when im done!
miycko Thank you :>
It's funny that almost everytime I keep discouraged by having my small crises i'll find something that helps to raise the chin and keep that head high. Here's a text by Stan...

Wow patram!! some great work!!
Sorry I haven't been in contact for a while, had no internet and still wont have any for another 4 more days aaaaaaagghhhh, but I have been working. Im using my...
As an absolutely terrible artist I deeply appreciate you sharing your nitty gritty sketches. Great sketchbook, please continue sharing.
Wicked work, love the fairy guy!
The mountains are really looking great. keep it up
lol an hour for that? Looks pretty good honestly. I'm slow at painting as well. I tend to get caught up making it look exactly like the photograph or the person when I try to do quick studies.
Hey patram! I see you have been workin steady, well done! I like this landscape, the only thing i keep thinking is i want to see more paint strokes and less merged textures. By getting in painting...
Those landscapes are lovely! I'd like to see more completed illustrations from you :)
