that dragon is awesomeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!! i like his hands and feet :D
that robot duck is pretty cool. reminds me of the duck squad in One Piece hehe, i dunno if you've ever seen those.
i don't know how i missed the update in aug @.@ really nice children book stuff
how did you get into children book stuff? just curious how it works.
dude you have crazy clean linework. @.@
i can't wait for page 5 to be overburdened with your stuff =P
that last one is my favorite so far! i feel like you did the whole thing in just a couple of brushstrokes. i'm diggin the limited color.
i love the design proj! real nice shapes :D
nice portraits! i think you could start in a less sat color tho. like i understand the red but maybe tone it down a little more.
colored light bulbs! omg you're a genius! i didn't even think of that =P
good stuff...moar! yeah still lifes that are in natural light are killerrrrrrrrr, i think you saw the one i did a while...
a lot better! congrats again.
that figure is just killing the painting though! i think either it's too complicated looking or it's too centered or something....it just throws the mood off.
nice structure in your studies. more color stuff! tho i guess it's harder without your main hand!
thanks guys, yeah the legs were off but i was too lazy to fix it after drawing all the stuff in. >.<
ok, no massive update....too lazy to scan in everything! it will have to come some other day i...
try something matte next time....it's driving me insane hehe for life studies >.< you seem to be on a roll, maybe you can share some tips hehehe
anyways don't be discouraged by your flower thing,...
the rocks don't really have a good sense of form in the foreground. the colors are great though. i'm just pushing you to do better ^^
gasp! what is this announcement? i'm not going to kill you...
@ben: well, there will be a focal point (a poster), that was just the large cleaner redraw of my interior...i had to throw a quick "light" over it to show to my teacher hehe.
so i got...
hmm the edges are a bit too sharp on the flowers. also the leaves are looking a little floppy. i mean they probably are floppy but maybe throw a little more structure into a few of them.
too lazy to scan anything at the moment...
redrew the interior at a larger size, trying to find some graphic shapes and then i will print it out this scan and tone it....
hahaha i like the guy who's caught on the mech :D
dragon is cool....but either crop it or work on the chest down :D
i have to know, did you actually paint in the photoshop menus?
base of that monitor is great!
the last guy doesn't quite look like he's standing quite flat. or maybe he's not supposed to be, it's a bit vague.
also his right hand holding the weapon looks really awkward at that position.
i haven't seen the photo but watch the highlights on the hair and the shadow under the chin. they both seem a bit too grey in color or pure white and even if you are copying a photo, it never hurts...
hmm yeah a lot of your paintings are quite saturated (which i prefer) but perhaps doing the beginning in a greyer color will add more contrasts between the sat/nonsat areas. i have noooo knowledge...
i think overall the face has the right structure but the wrong colors.
nice studies and sketches!
niiiiiiiiiiiiiiice painting :D great colors!
i'm sure you already said this (sorry!) but how long do things like the lemon and leaf take you?
i think the lemon needs a little more dark variation on the rind...but i'm sure its all very subtle...
sorry about your grandpa, my grandma just passed away this week as well. :(
did you use ref for that last pic? cuz if you didn't....shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiet man you're doing good! and it's not...
her arms are too wobbly with the lines. when you try to draw a cute char like this one usually fuller characters look better so there isn't too much definition. and her left arm (our right) is crazy...
