Love your work. Seems effortless, sketchy, yet somehow well thought out, measured. Sparse yet somehow fully realized, you can feel the weight of your subject matter. Stunning.
Beautiful work, and they convey such action and emotion. Also, you have a butler's name.
Very beautiful. Reminds me of someone else on this forum from some time ago. Not derivative in any way, just the styles are similar and I don't recall his handle.
Beautiful...love this style.
Your work should speak for itself. Marketing implies sales, so if you aren't selling, it doesn't mean the work isn't good, but good work tends to move regardless.
Nice rendering, but I do believe they are in the wrong socket.
First thing...Thanks for labeling which one was edited. Secondly, the skull is not aligned with the rest of her face. Start with the teeth.
The wound on the neck clashes with the photo, it's...
I see it as "C. Manuel" but that's not going to help you either!
I never got that impression from your question or comments! You were asking a sincere question, and I was trying to give you my perspective, that's all. Best of luck to you.
Thought I'd chime in real quick. I'm a bit of a sketch collector and sketches by well known, renowned artists can be less than $100. It's a bit of a challenge to put any value on these.
All my stuff is photorealistic. I just have a reallly shitty camera.
Thanks for sharing the progress shots. Very interesting.
Are you right handed?
I believe you may be focusing on the mechanics of the image, rather than the composition. I think you just need to build up your internal reference library. Next time you...
This is the heart of the matter. Sure you have spent a lot of time developing your manga style, but that is going to really limit you in other areas. You are likely drawing manga eyes/lips/noses and...
Your teacher is criticizing your work. Maybe not the most constructive way, possibly rude, but in the end you would want to be able to absorb that criticism and see it as an opportunity to improve. ...
I agree...the fixative is probably enough. The varnish (and I use varnish and polys a lot) may have a negative effect on how your paint takes to the surface.
You don't need proper training, but it does help. You seem to be pretty academic, so perhaps you have the discipline to teach yourself, but there is nothing quite like going to class. There are...
I couldn't clearly understand if he is selling these as original or just calling them original. If he is printing 'old photographs, mostly celebrities' and painting over them, calling them his own,...
I'd be careful with something like this. This is getting close to mail fraud.
If it is worth your time/money, you gotta send them a cease and desist, preferably from an attorney. That could cost...
I was wondering what the ballpark initial investment is? I have a sort of merging audience with art buyers and toy collectors and always thought it would be so cool to have a toy. PM'd.
Equine? They look like horses to me.
Just kidding, fantastic work. The light in the middle one is really nice. I'm not crazy about the background purple of the other two, but the subject is...
Wow. Beautiful work. 4 months, though? That's like a whole week on the penis.
The plot is a little convoluted.
Think of styles as languages. You speak English not because of your genetics, but rather because it took a very long time to learn the basics and you practice every day.
Simone Legno? of tokidoki?
